The hanged man in Internet: play with family and friends.

You can create games and invite your family and friends, or you can be invited to the games others create.

If you are invited to play a game that another person created, you can play it for free and you don't even need to register.

But if you want to create games, you need to register.

Users registered can create 3 games for free per day. At 00:00 CEST every day free games reset to 3 again.

This is a commercial project, so you can buy paid games, and create games whenever you run out of free games.

If you have free games and paid games, free games are always used first.

Create a game

Press Create a game, and you will be led to a screen like this:

First you select the language for the game. This defines the keyboard, and the dictionary used for the words used by the game.

Then you can choose a name for the game. This is the name all the players will see. For example: Family game.

Game mode: you can select between the types of games available.

Then hit Create game.

Playing alone with bots

If you prefer to play alone, or you want to add robots to a game you play with human friends, you can add bots to your game.

The creator of the game can add robots — Terminator, HAL 9000, Number 5 and R2-D2 — from the waiting room. Each robot plays on its own, guessing a letter every turn until it wins or is hanged, just like a human player. So you can start and play even when you are on your own.

Waiting room

After you hit Create game you are directed to the waiting room.

Here you see a URL and an icon to copy it to the clipboard.

Copy the URL and share it with your friends using WhatsApp, Email, Telegram...

Everybody can play from computers, smartphones, or tablets. They just need to open the URL you sent.

When your friends open the URL they are asked for a name, then after they press Join the game, you'll see them in the waiting room.

When all your friends have connected, press Start the game.

The game

In this example we created a game in Catalan (CA), so the word chosen by the server is a Catalan one and the keyboard has the Ç character. You have to guess the hidden word, and your friends too.

Press one key on the screen, and wait for the other players to pick theirs. There is a time limit of around 15 seconds. If a player does not pick their key within this time window, it counts as a fail and the turn advances for everybody.

The keys you press that are present in the hidden word will be shown in green, their position will be revealed in the hidden word, and you won't be able to press them again. The keys you press that are not present in the hidden word will be marked in red.

Every key pressed that is not in the hidden word generates a fail, and advances your progress towards dying as the hanged man.

As every player can play in a turn, it is possible to have more than one winner in the same turn. The game ends when everybody has found the word or died.

When the game finishes, the creator of the game is offered the possibility to create a new game with the same configuration and the same guests.

If you create a new game with the same people, all of you will appear in the waiting room. If you want, you can invite more people by sharing the new URL with them.
